Banginapalli Mangoes (Mangifera Indica)

Banginapalli mangoes are also known as  Benishan, Chappatai and Safeda. It is called as the 'King of Mangoes' in South India. 
Historically, Banginapalli mango received its name from the former princely state of Banganapalli located in South of India. It has been cultivated in and around the Banganapalli town in Kurnool District and in the South Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana extensively. It is also the first mango variety to get a Geographical Indication (GI) tag in 2017.

Banginapalli mango is a medium-sized fruit. The prominent characteristics of this mango is the very thin skin with light spots. The flesh of the ripe fruit is yellow to golden-yellow to orange-yellow in color, fiber less and  firm. The stone is thin and oblong shape.

The skin of the totapuri mango is greenish-yellow ,orangish-red ,thick and is edible. This mango has a mild taste and a tangy flavour. It is crunchy and not sweet. This mango makes a great snack with salt and chili powder.

Totapuri  Mangoes (Mangifera Indica) 

It is often referred to as the Bangalsora variety. Totapuri Mangoes, derives its name from its very characteristic shape. The mango is green in colour and has a unique pointed end that resembles the beak of a parrot (Tota, in Hindi). The name literally translates as 'parrot beak'.
    Totapuri is cultivated in the South Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

Rasaalu mangoes

The Rasaalu mango family comprises of the most famous juice mangoes, which originate mostly from Nuzvid regions in Andhra Pradesh located in South of India. Hence, they are famously called as the Nuzvid Rasaalu.
The common varieties are: Large (Pedda) Rasaalu, Small (Chinna) Rasaalu, Sweet (Cheruku) Rasaalu

Pedda Rasaalu  (Mangifera Indica)

Pedda rasaalu mangoes are the most famous among the juicy variety. These mangoes are grown all over the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Pedda rasaalu mangoes are the most famous among the juicy variety. Ripe mangoes are greenish yellow in color and are of large size. The skin of the ripe fruit is very thin and fragile with a distinct smell. The pulp is very fibrous, juicy and yellowish-orange to orange colour.

Chinna rasaalu are small to medium sized mangoes. Ripe mangoes are yellowish green colour with a thick skin. The pulp of the fruit is less fibrous, soft and juicy.

Chinna rasaalu are grown in the Nuzvid district of Andhra Pradesh.

Cheruku Rasaalu  (Mangifera Indica)

Cheruku rasaalu mangoes are known for being extremely sweet and juicy.  This mango derives its name from its sweetness and hence the name 'Cheruku', meaning sugarcane in Telugu.

Cheruku rasaalu are small to medium oblong shaped mangoes Ripe mangoes are green coloured with an yellow tinge and a medium thick skin. The pulp of the fruit is very juicy, fibrous and yellowish-orange to orange colour.

    We select farms that share similar vision and responsibilities for growing mangoes to comply with the  European Union regulations. Only tree-ripe mangoes are harvested and no artificial ripening techniques are utilized.
